Our next scheduled event is the Christmas Tour of Historic Homes on December 12, but every season offers a reason to visit Bramwell. Between our big events, Bramwell is exactly what it's always been: charming brick streets and stone walls, a century's worth of architecture, and mountains in every direction. Stop in for ice cream at the Corner Shop, wander the historic district at your own pace, or find a trailhead and head into the hills. Plan your visit here.

Step inside the Town of Millionaires for an evening unlike any other. Since 1983, Bramwell has opened the doors of its grand historic mansions every December — dressed for the holidays, filled with carols, and welcoming visitors from across the region. It's one of Southern West Virginia's most beloved holiday traditions.

Self-Guided Walking Tour
Tickets can be purchased at the church the evening of the event or in advance on this website. Check back in October for ticket portal.
Slideshow & Tour Kickoff
The evening begins at Bramwell Presbyterian Church with a brief slideshow narrated by Town Historian, Betty Goins. Then set out to explore the homes at your own pace.
Historic Coal Baron Mansions
Walk through beautifully restored Victorian and Tudor-style homes originally built by Bramwell's wealthy coal barons - each one decorated top to bottom for Christmas.
Small-Town Holiday Spirit
Stroll the brick streets, enjoy live music and refreshments inside the homes, and dine at local restaurants before or after your tour.
