In the next six weeks, autumn will settle beautifully over Bramwell. Wander through the historic district, follow a nearby trail into the hills as the mountains put on their annual show, and round out the day with dinner and a margarita at Casa Familia on Main Street.
As autumn gives way to winter, Bramwell will light up for the holidays. The Christmas Tour of Historic Homes returns Saturday, December 12. Details below.

Grab your boots and get into the swing of things - line dancing is back in Bramwell, with community-led beginner classes offering a little exercise, plenty of laughs, and a chance to spend time with friends and neighbors.
Whether you’re learning your first steps or brushing up on old favorites, everyone is welcome.
No experience or partner needed.
Come on your own or bring a friend and learn together.Move, mingle, and have fun.

For one magical December evening, the lights will be glowing, the doors will be open, and Christmas will be waiting for you in Bramwell.
Since 1983, Bramwell has opened the doors of its grand historic mansions every December—dressed for the holidays, filled with carols, and welcoming visitors from across the region. It’s one of Southern West Virginia’s most beloved holiday traditions.

The evening begins at the Tour check-in and orientation location with a brief slideshow narrated by Mr. Rodney Holcomb. Then set out to explore the homes at your own pace. The location and arrival details will be announced soon.Historic Coal Baron Mansions
Walk through beautifully restored Victorian and Tudor-style homes originally built by Bramwell's wealthy coal barons - each one decorated top to bottom for Christmas.Small-Town Holiday Spirit
Stroll the brick streets, enjoy live music and refreshments inside the homes, and dine at local restaurants before or after your tour. Warm up with a mug of hot coffee or cocoa and do a little Christmas shopping at the Masonic Lodge, where local artists and craftspeople will display their wares.
